MOURNING ROOM projects a space for those losses that do not (yet) have a name, a space, a closure. Professional mourners engage in rituals with fragments of textile that tie the individual to the social, and sorrow to care.
'We tie the knots of remembrance.
Knots, to not forget.
We.
Here.
You.
The cycle will go on.'
The film was first screened on www.glasshouse.berlin as a loop, beginning at a random point. Each loop-sequence is approx. 14 Minutes long.
